London Women's Institute takes a refreshing look at summery wines

Valerie Cowan and her colleague Elisabeth joined us in July for a refreshing look at ‘summery’ wines for the approaching BBQ season. We sniffed, sipped and spat our way through a zesty Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, a refreshing French rosé and a powerful Tempranillo Syrah from Spain. Fun and informative, the wine tasting proved to be a fantastic segue to flex our new found tasting muscles and continue conversations at the Summer Party in August.

Valerie teaches wine appreciation courses and workshops in North London at the Hampstead Garden Suburb Institute, East Finchley.
